What does GTi stand for?
GTi is Guild Training International. All GTi course are fully accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists and taught to National Occupational Standards by fully qualified trainers. GTi qualifications are accepted for insurance and membership.
1. How much do the courses cost? For the Beauty Guild courses that have a theory and practical element to the course, it costs £25 to enrol on the course theory, plus the practical training course fee, which is set by M.C Spa Training.
2. Is there an exam for the courses? The course theory has test questions as you work through the modules online. The practical is assessed by Maxine at M.C Spa Training. Please note if you are unsuccessful at passing your practical, M.C Spa Training may request you to revisit the school to retake your assessment at an additional cost of 50% of the course value.
3.Are the courses recognised qualifications worldwide? The courses meet the National Occupational Standards (NOS). They are fully accredited and accepted by all the main insurance providers. However we do advise to check with your own insurance provider that they will insure you for the courses before enrolling. GTi qualifications are not on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) because they are essentially industry lead vocational qualifications which are not externally assessed. This means that some authorities, like London councils, may not accept them. If a student needs to have qualifications that are on the RQF then they should instead consider enrolling on courses such as VTCT, ITEC, NVQs etc.
4.What is the Professional Standards course? Professional Standards is a theory only GTi course. When you enrol for the theory of a GTi Theory + Practical course, the Professional Standards course is also loaded onto your GTi course account to complete, at no extra cost. You need to complete the theory for Professional Standards first before completing your course theory. For more details about the Professional Standards course please click here

9. What is the difference between the GTi Teaching Course and an AET Teaching Course? The Level 3 AET course is a National Recognised Qualification in Teaching externally assessed and are accredited by TQUK.
